Roblox is a huge online game creation system somewhat like a virtual world. You can spend your time wandering around different worlds that other users have created or you can unleash your creative biases and build your own world inside it. There are a lot of activities to do in Roblox. The most interesting feature that Roblox offers is that the players can develop their own games on it and share it with other players online. You might have heard about Murder Mystery 2 or Speedrun 4, they all are built using Roblox. Not only that but creators can also monetize the game that they have made. They Lurk
It is one of my personal favorite scary Roblox games that I have played in 2020. They Lurk only allows you to play alone which makes it 10x scarier than other games on this list. It features a series of story-driven chapters that you can complete.
For eg: In the first story, you, your brother, your father and a guy named Richard live in a small cottage around the woods. At sunset, Richard and your father head out in search of a supply crate. Following that, your brother also goes out to take a piss leaving you alone inside.
There are few jump scares in this game though but the suspense holds the actual fear isn’t it.
Dead Silence
Dead Silence is one of the most popular and oldest scary Roblox games, ever. You can either play alone or with 2 other friends. Dead Silence is a story of Lisa and Billy who received an anonymous box with a ventriloquist doll inside it. After that, Billy goes out to pick up the dinner while Lisa stayed home playing with the doll that they received earlier.
When Billy returns home, he finds Lisa dead with her tongue carved out and a message inside the box that says something about the legend of ‘Mary Shaw’, a murdered ventriloquist whose eerie presence still looms over the town of Ravens Fair.
School History
School History allows you to play with 2 other friends but this game is so scary that it won’t matter with how many friends you are playing it. Basically, your school hosts as a subject for some paranormal stories in past. You have received a message that there is some incident at the school and you choose to challenge it.
So, pick up your candle and visit on a spooky adventure filled with jumpscares, darkness and mysteries. This is an incredibly scary game that you should tr…oh no-no that you shouldn’t try alone.
Dark Wood
Dark Wood features a story where you are being followed by monsters and you desperately need to find a way in order to escape. However, this can only be done by collecting all the necessary items like a flashlight, gas, etc in a time-based manner.
You can choose between 3 different locations namely Hospital, Forrest and Swamp to play from. The game is fairly new to the table but has some good Hollywood styled spooky vibes to it.
The Apartment
The Apartment is a super scary adventurous Roblox game that I have been playing for some time. You and your friend are inside an apartment building which is super spooky and filled with horrors.
You both have to make your way to the top of the building. But this ride isn’t going to be easy as it is filled with lots of jumpscares, distant noises, dead bodies, weird figures/shadows and other scary kinds of stuff like these. Plus anything is barely visible in there so good luck.
Finders Keepers
Finders Keepers is another incredibly scary game that you can only play alone. In Finders Keepers, you are trapped inside a house by a paranormal entity. In order to escape, you will need to explore the whole place to find some disks and discharge the entity after it.
The most interesting element in this game is the flashlight. I mean, there is complete darkness but you also have your flashlight along with you. So, everything is visible but still, everything is not visible. The game is a complete package of mystery and uncertainty.
The Mirror
How can we not talk about the horror genre and not mention any mirrors. ‘The Mirror’ is a pretty simple game. You are inside a room and the only thing you can do is switch OFF the light and stare into a huge a** mirror that is mounted on the wall.
To win in this game, you just need to have a lot of patience and the ability to absorb anything unusual happening on the screen.
