The title will not appear until next year – including for the PS5.
Starward Industries has released a new trailer for “The Invincible”. In addition, the first-person science fiction thriller, which takes place in a retro future time, has been postponed – from the original release window of 2021 to 2022. A release for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series and PC via Steam is planned.
In “The Invincible” you wake up as a space scientist on a hostile planet and embark on a mysterious mission to find the missing crew of your spaceship. According to the developer, your survival depends on making the right decisions as you uncover the planet’s secrets.
You should soon discover that Regis III, the game’s location, holds terrifying secrets that will be revealed as you assemble the fate of your crew. “And the deeper you dig into the mystery, the more you realize that you may not be alone and that there are places like this planet that are better left untouched. But it’s too late to turn back, ”said the makers.
Main features of “The Invincible” according to the manufacturer:
Retro-future-atomic punk setting that is reminiscent of the era of space racing. Analog but very advanced technology that allows drones and autonomous robots to aid or thwart your missions. Gameplay with a non-linear story shaped by your relationships, decisions, and persuasive skills. Graphics based on the Unreal Engine. A story inspired by Stanislaw Lem’s science fiction classic of the same name.
