Apple TV+ announced that the new animated series “Harriet the Spy” will debut on the platform on Friday 19th November.
Set in the 1960s and based on Louise Fitzhugh’s children’s novel of the same name, “Harriet the Spy”Tells the adventures of Harriet M. Welsch, an eleven-year-old frank and perpetually curious.
More than anything else, Harriet wants to be a writer, and to be a good writer she’ll need to know everything. And knowing everything means he will have to spy on everyone!

The series sees Beanie Feldstein voicing Harriet and Jane Lynch voicing Ole Golly, Harriet’s “no frills” nanny. Other actors featured in the voice cast also include Lacey Chabert, Kimberly Brooks, Crispin Freeman, Gray Griffin, Bumper Robinson and Charlie Schlatter. The series was produced for Apple by “The Jim Henson Company,” while it will be written and produced by Will McRobb and Sidney Clifto. Courtney Barnett, on the other hand, wrote and performed the original theme song.
