Prices for AMD’s new RDNA 2 graphics card may have leaked

AMD’s upcoming RDNA 2-based graphics cards Radeon RX 6650 XT, RX 6750 XT and 6850 XT may have had their price tags cleared in advance through what is said to be a leaked press image.

AMD is expected to launch three new graphics cards next week. These are based on the same RDNA 2 architecture that we are used to from the Radeon RX 6000 series, but screw up the numbers one step further. All in all, these will be three new graphics cards that will then represent AMD and Radeon until it is time for the architecture RDNA 3 to be launched.

Now what is said to be an image from AMD’s press material for the new graphics cards has begun to circulate online. The website Videocardz must have come across the image that confirms the launch date, the amount of video memory and the price tag for the Radeon RX 6950 XT, RX 6750 XT and RX 6650 XT.

The picture shows the previously rumored launch date of May 10. Thus, we may get to see AMD’s latest creations on Tuesday if previous rumors and the picture above turn out to be true. After that, the image lists the RX 6650 XT with eight gigabytes of video memory and text that says that the device is made for gaming in 1,080p resolution. The RX 6750 XT comes with twelve gigabytes of memory and will focus on 1,440p gaming. Finally, we have the RX 6950 XT, which will be AMD’s absolute flagship for RDNA 2 with 16 GB of memory and the focus set on gaming in 4K.

If the picture turns out to be correct, the RX 6650 XT will have a target price of 399 dollars, the RX 6750 XT with a price tag of 549 dollars and the flagship RX 6950 XT will cost 1,099 dollars.
