Mysterious weapons have been referenced in the Red Dead Redemption 2 files. There are many indications that the developers are checking new toys on the Wild West map, which, however, will already be used in GTA 6. Rockstar carried out the same situation in previous projects.
Rockstar can reuse its latest production to test items from the upcoming position. The developers apparently can no longer use GTA 5 and GTA Online to test GTA 6 novelties, so three mentions of new weapons were found in Red Dead Redemption 2 files.
In the Red Dead Redemption 2 code you will find: “W_J_L1A1”, “W_AR_AK47”, “W_J_BOWNING” and “W_J_BOWNING_SUPP”. According to the players, the company is testing the L1A1, AK-47 rifles and the Browning Hi-Power pistol (normal and silencer versions).
The situation is interesting because it is precisely these weapon names that can easily be linked to Project Americas – this is the code name of GTA 6. The L1A1 rifle was produced between 1954 and 1999, and the AK-47 and Browning Hi-Power were used by drug cartels in the 1980s and 1990s. According to the aforementioned project, Grand Theft Auto 6 is to take place at this time, and the main plot is to be inspired by the story of drug dealers who imported drugs from Latin America to the United States.
Players have even managed to discover that although some of these weapons have already appeared in GTA 5, in this case, they are new versions of files with refreshed guns.
