After installing KB5005611 for Windows 11 1904x.1266, problems occurred with some network printers. For example, the print properties defined on this server may not have been correctly provided to the clients on a print server. According to Microsoft, this problem should be resolved by KB5006670.
But the odyssey with the printer problems did not come to an end. Because after installing the KB5006670, some of them have the problem again that the network printers do not work.
As a workaround, uninstalling the update helps here. Or those who have not yet updated their device can back up Win32spl.dll (version 19041.1237) from the System32 folder and then copy it back into the system after the update. Then should be loud kcarney everything can be printed again from the Bleepingcomputer forum.
Printer problems in Windows 10 and Windows 11
Incidentally, this does not only apply to Windows 10. Microsoft has now also added three entries for Windows 11 that describe printer problems.
Thanks also to Daniel for pointing this out.
