Microsoft OneNote: From September no more import from Evernote possible

To make it easier to switch from Evernote to OneNote, Microsoft had been offering an importer for a number of years. This will no longer be available for download from September 1, 2022.

A corresponding notice will be given on the download page of the import program appears:

Import Evernote notes into OneNote

In a message that Microsoft 365 administrators can view in the notification center (Message ID MC393188), there is additional information about the upcoming deactivation: Anyone who downloads the importer before September 1st can continue to use it, at least temporarily, the functionality will remain indefinitely get time. However, you use it “at your own risk”.

The message also reveals that the importer hasn’t been serviced for two years, so it’s only logical that it’s now being phased out.
