Into the Breach – Subset Games’ Turn-Based Strategy Game Receives Free Content Update, Announces Physical Release – Nintendo Switch

Developped by Subset Games, Into the Breach is a turn-based strategy game from the minds of the creators of FTL: Faster Than Light went out on nintendo-switch August 28, 2018. The creators have just announced that the game will soon receive a completely free content update next July 19 in the form of a “Advanced Edition“. On the menu of new weapons, new heroes, new missions and new challenges.

At the same time, a physical edition will be available for the game later this year and is now on pre-order (in English version) for $34 by clicking here. What revive the general interest for the game, while waiting for the next project of Subset Games.

We are excited to announce the free Advanced Edition update for Into the Breach, which will be released on July 19! Almost every aspect of the game will be expanded with new content.

New weapons

New mechs and new weapons: Five new mech squads and nearly forty new weapons.

New challenges : more enemies, more bosses, and more mission objectives that add extra challenge and variety to any run.

New Pilot Abilities: the expanded roster includes four new pilots and triples the number of skills any pilot can earn through promotions.
