Can we all just appreciate cloud gaming for one second? I mean, how cool it is. It lets you experience games through cloud streaming without even installing them on your machine.

Nvidia’s GeForce Now is just like this except it requires you to install some of its assigned applications onto your machine to make that happen. But now that Geforce now is available on ChromeOS we don’t need to do this.

By that I mean, you can play Geforce now using just your Google Chrome browser and nothing more. All you need to do is follow the below steps.

Step 1: Install an extension called ‘User-Agent Switcher for Chrome’. It is developed by Google itself and is used to switch between User-Agent strings. This extension makes sure Geforce Now will recognize you as a legit ChromeOS user

Step 2: Now visit the options for that extension. It can be found by clicking the puzzle icon in the top right corner and then clicking on those 3 dots beside the extension name.

Step 3: Now that you are there just create a new User-agent like shown below. You have to add this following text in the ‘New User-Agent String’ field

Mozilla/5.0 (X11; CrOS aarch64 13099.85.0) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/84.0.4147.110 Safari/537.36

Also, put ‘ASX’ in the ‘Indicator Flag’ field and then click Add button.

Step 4: After doing the above steps perfectly head over to the ‘Permanent spoof List’ option from the right sidebar.

Put the domain ‘play.geforcenow.com’ and select the User-agent string that you made before from the dropdown menu. Don’t forget to click Add after that.

That’s it. Now you can visit play.geforcenow.com and experience what you aspire to. However, by doing this you still won’t be able to unlock GeForce Now in regions where it is not available. You can use a VPN of some sort to figure that out.
