FRITZ!Repeater 2400, 3000: Laboratory update released

Just now the DSL boxes and cable boxes and now the repeaters too: to be more precise, the FRITZ!Repeater 2400 and FRITZ!Repeater 3000 also receive an update in the FRITZ! Laboratory. Also included are numerous bug fixes and improvements that bring you one step closer to FRITZ!OS 07.50.

Improvements in this version:

  • improvement – Manual configuration of WLAN channels independent of the maximum channel width possible (5 GHz band)
  • improvement – DFS waiting time is displayed based on the 20 MHz channel grid (page “WLAN / radio channel / occupancy of WLAN radio channels”)
  • modification – MAC filter lists are limited to up to 128 entries
  • Fixed – 160MHz channel bandwidth was not possible after radar detection (DFS event).
  • Fixed – WLAN / Mesh Repeater page: Password and encryption fields were offered per band
  • Fixed – “WLAN / Security” page: When changing from “WPA2+WPA3” to “WPA2”, the “PMF” option was not selectable until you clicked on “Apply”.
  • Fixed – when the WLAN band was deactivated, the display of the WLAN channel display was not deactivated

As always, the update can be found on the AVM website be downloaded and installed. If you have already installed the lab, it should be displayed in the FRITZ!Box user interface. A list of devices that should receive the update can be found here.
