FRITZ!Box 6690, 6591 and 6660 Cable also with a new update in the laboratory

First the FRITZ!Box 7530, 7590, 7590 AX and now AVM has also provided a new laboratory update for the cable boxes 6690, 6591 and 6660. Everything will probably come in a dab today. The new FRITZ!OS is 07.39-98876 /74 and 75. Some improvements and corrections have been made here.

  • Internet:
  • Improvement of filter lists as editable list, list display and print view
  • Improved layout of the lock page of the parental controls updated (
  • Fixed 160MHz channel bandwidth was not possible after radar detection (DFS event) (7590, 6590, 6591)
  • Fixed WLAN / Mesh Repeater page: Password and encryption fields were offered per band
  • Fixed “WLAN / Security” page: When changing from “WPA2+WPA3” to “WPA2”, the “PMF” option was not selectable until you clicked on “Apply”.
  • Fixed when the WiFi band was disabled, the WiFi channel display was not disabled
  • Improved DFS waiting time is displayed on the basis of the 20 MHz channel grid (“WLAN / radio channel / occupancy of the WLAN radio channels” page)
  • Mesh: Improved handling for displaying connections when using certain network switches
  • Telephony:
  • Fixed A phone number could not be added from the call list to the phone book and to call blocks
  • Fixed Incoming calls could not be accepted under certain circumstances
  • Fixed Incorrect display of the “LAN/WAN” connection in the overview of telephony devices

  • Fixed various errors in the initial setup wizard
