Dragon’s Dogma 2 is official, the sequel is in development at Capcom | Xbox One

It’s no surprise, but Capcom made the development of Dragon’s Dogma 2 official at its event tonight. The announcement was scheduled after a first teaser earlier this week.

Dragon’s Dogma 2 officially unveils its logo and… that’s it

The Japanese video game was in the spotlight last night since it was at the same time as the announcements related to Final Fantasy 7 (including Final Fantasy VII Crisis Core Reunion on Xbox) that Capcom announced Dragon’s Dogma 2 at exactly the same time.

As part of the “10 Years of Dragon’s Dogma” video, director Hideaki Itsuno officially announced a title that many gamers have been waiting for: Dragon’s Dogma II. The game is already in development and although no images or gameplay have been shared yet, we already know the logo of the game.

We do not yet know the release date of this new Action RPG, or even the platforms on which it will be available. But knowing that the first episode released in 2012 was available on Xbox and PlayStation, we imagine that it will be the same with this sequel.
