Diablo 2 Resurrected: Gameplay, Features and Graphics compared to the original

Diablo 2 vs Diablo 2 Resurrected

The GamersPrey channel has compiled the entire Diablo 2 Resurrected gameplay from BlizzConline into one video. The video provides a comparison of graphics between the remaster and the original game, a character selection menu, battles in various locations, an interface and social hubs. Also, the official Diablo Twitter page has tweeted a series of direct comparisons between the original and the Resurrected that you can see below.

Judging by the video, Blizzard has seriously worked on the graphics of the legendary game, but at the same time retained the atmosphere of the title: everything is as dark as ever.

Nearly all of the game’s models have been redesigned from the ground up, but pay homage to the classics and even Blizzard North’s approach to making the game. For example, as in the original, the body of a succubus is based on the body of an assassin. The only model that has survived one-to-one is Tyrael’s wings.

Also, the game will not have microtransactions or an in-game store for purchasing cosmetic items. The remaster will receive an improved interface, a common chest, cross-progress on different platforms, auto-picking gold and other upgrades.
