AMD Adrenalin 12/21/1 with support for Fortnite, Icarus, Blender 3.0 and other improvements

AMD released the first December driver for the graphics cards. The Adrenalin 12/21/1 offers improvements for Halo Infinite and supports Fortnite, Icarus and Blender 3.0 with the Radeon RX 6000 graphics card series. But errors have also been corrected.

  • When running SteamVR Home on some AMD graphics cards, such as the B. Radeon VII, some users may experience a crash.
  • While playing Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy, some AMD graphics cards, such as B. the Radeon RX 5500 XT, driver timeouts occur.
  • When playing PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds with multiple monitors connected in advanced mode, the Radeon software may become unresponsive when the user is in the lobby and tries to open the Radeon software from the context menu on the second screen.
  • When playing Forza Horizon 5 on some AMD graphics cards, such as B. Radeon RX 500 graphics cards, a visual falsification of the logo or the license plate of a vehicle can be observed.

Known problems:

  • After upgrading to the latest Radeon ™ software, the Power Tuning component of a saved tuning profile may not load correctly when a user imports a previously saved tuning profile.
  • Enhanced Sync can cause a black screen in some games and system configurations if enabled. All users who experience problems with Extended Sync enabled should turn it off as a temporary workaround.
  • Radeon performance metrics and logging capabilities can intermittently report extremely high and incorrect memory clocks.
  • Important NOTE: Visual artifacts may be seen on some AMD graphics cards, such as the Radeon ™ RX 6800M, when playing Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War. AMD is working with the game developers to address this issue.
