Acer has announced new new Swift and Spin series laptops.
All devices are running Intel Core 12th generation and Windows 11. Let’s talk about them in more detail.
Acer Swift 3 OLED
This laptop has a 14-inch OLED display with support for 2.8K resolution (2880 × 1800 pixels) and a refresh rate of 90 Hz. The response time is only 1ms. It covers 100% of the DCI-P3 color space and is certified to the standard. VESA Display HDR True Black 500.
Responsible for performance is an Intel Core i7-12650H (10 cores and 16 threads) with integrated Intel Xe graphics, 16 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and a PCIe Gen4 SSD.
Works without recharging up to 10 hours. There is a fast charge: half an hour at the outlet gives 4 hours of autonomy.
In addition, the laptop received an aluminum case with a thickness of 17.9 mm, weighs only 1.4 kg. Equipped with an OceanGlass touchpad, made from plastic waste fished out of the ocean, there is a special glass-like coating.
The device is equipped with an Intel Wi-Fi 6E module for fast data transfer. The built-in Full HD MIPI webcam supports Temporal Noise Reduction (TNR) for clear images even in low light conditions.
At the same time, Acer PurifiedVoice technology with AI-based noise reduction guarantees loud and clear voice reproduction.

Acer Spin 5
This is a convertible laptop with a very thin body – only 16.9 mm. Weighs 1.3 kg.
Equipped with a 14″ WQXGA (1600×1600) resolution 16:10 aspect ratio touch display, low blue light emission, TÜV certified and 88% screen-to-body ratio. A special hinge allows you to rotate the screen 360 degrees.
Due to the fact that it is a transformer, the computer can be used in four formats: laptop, console, tent and tablet.
The top-of-the-line Spin 5 features a 12th Gen Intel Core i7 processor with Intel Iris Xe graphics, 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM, and a 1TB PCIe 4th Gen SSD.
The Killer Wi-Fi 6E AX1675i module provides faster network connectivity, and there are also two USB Type-C Thunderbolt 4 ports. The special TwinAir cooling system is designed based on the Vortex Flow architecture and can increase cooling efficiency by 75%.
The rechargeable Acer Active Stylus with Wacom AES 2.0 technology supports 4096 pressure levels.

Acer Spin 3
Spin 3 received a touch screen with a diagonal of 14 inches. This is a 2-in-1 laptop that houses an Acer Active Stylus.
Powered by a 12th Gen Intel Core processor with Intel Iris Xe graphics, equipped with a PCIe SSD. Screen occupies 86% arearotates 360 degrees, supports tablet mode.
The laptop supports high-speed networking with Wi-Fi 6 and features two USB Type-C Thunderbolt 4 ports for fast data transfers. You can also charge your gadget through them.
The device received a webcam with HD resolution and support for Acer TNR technology. Also implemented is Acer PurifedVoice technology with improved noise reduction based on artificial intelligence.
Worth the Acer Spin 3 €999. On sale from June 2022.
